I fell in love with the Cane Corso after I met the first one at a dog show in 1994, I was actually there in search of a female Presa Canario. Since that first meeting I have drove to Italy innumerable times, visited many exhibitions and several breeders. Along the way I have found many new friends. After some initial difficulties, I returned to Germany in the middle of 1996 with my first 6 Cane Corsos. On one of this shows I also met the Lagotto Romagnolo for the first time. Previously I had only heard of this breed from newspaper articles and I have been fascinated since day one. In the middle of 1997, I had my first litter of Cane Corso puppies. My bitch BABY is out of that breeding. Baby embodies the type of Cane Corso I want to breed, besides some smaller imperfections she is an almost perfect example of the standard and participates very successfully on shows in Italy and all over Europe . I have since imported many more dogs, as well as, exported some of my dogs to the USA, Canada, Australia, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Jamaica, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Holland. |
In the beginning of 1998 I moved to Italy to learn more about the Cane Corso and the Lagotto Romagnolo. I wanted to do more research for my breeding program and learn more about both of the breeds. While I was there, I bought my first Lagotto coming from the famous kennel "di Casa Cleo". I was able to look over the shoulder of many important breeders and gained a wealth of knowledge from them, as well as their friendship. This was very helpfully in getting good breeding specimens, which can be very difficult in the beginning, even in Italy I am available for questions and conversation anytime so feel free to contact me at any time. And please don't forget to sign up my guestbook! |
